Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how ZOA LLC handles personal information on its website and in its client and employee portals, and how to contact us about your information.
Who this policy covers
ZOA LLC operates zoallc.com, including the client area used to review website projects and the employee portal. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share personal information through those services.
Products and external websites linked from our portfolio may have their own privacy policies. A client website being previewed may also contain features or services with separate privacy notices. This policy covers ZOA LLC’s portal and preview-access controls; it does not replace a client website’s own notice.
Information we collect
- Google sign-in information. When you choose to sign in, Google provides your account identifier, email address and verification status, and, when available, your name and profile image. For work accounts, we also receive the Workspace domain. We record account access and sign-in times.
- Information you or your organization provide. This includes approved email addresses, project details, website repository references, feedback and replies, and messages sent to us. The employee portal also holds work records, such as project assignments and time entries.
- Technical and security information. We process session identifiers, sign-in attempts, access and activity records, and website build status. Our hosting systems may record IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs, timestamps, and errors. Sign-in rate limiting uses a protected hash derived from the requesting IP address.
Please avoid putting passwords, payment-card information, or unnecessary sensitive personal information into feedback or preview forms.
How we use Google data
We request only basic identity permissions: openid, email, and profile. We use this information to verify who is signing in, match the account to approved client or employee access, display account information, and protect the service. Signing in does not give ZOA LLC access to your Gmail messages, Drive files, contacts, or calendar. We do not receive your Google password.
We store the identity details needed for your ZOA account. Google’s sign-in tokens are processed during authentication; this sign-in integration does not retain Google access or refresh tokens for later API access.
We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements where applicable.
Why we use information
We use information to operate the website and portals, provide access to the right projects, host website previews, respond to feedback and support requests, and maintain business records. We also use it to investigate errors, prevent unauthorized access, enforce our agreements, and meet legal obligations.
Client feedback, its author, and our responses are available to authorized people with access to that project and to ZOA staff responsible for the work. Employee records are available according to portal permissions.
Storage, security, and retention
We use access restrictions, encrypted connections, and protected session credentials to safeguard information. No system can guarantee absolute security.
We retain account and project information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the information and any client agreement. Ending a session or disabling access does not automatically erase account records or project feedback. Backup copies may remain until they are replaced or expire.
Your choices and requests
You can sign out at any time and manage ZOA LLC’s connection through your Google Account connections. Removing that connection does not automatically delete records already held by ZOA LLC or end an existing ZOA session. Contact us to request account closure or removal of access.
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing hello@zoallc.com. We may need to verify your identity and clarify the records involved. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or another person’s rights.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of information, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a privacy regulator. We will handle requests as required by applicable law.
Children’s privacy
The website and business portals are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through these services, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy as our services or obligations change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice of material changes when required.
For questions or privacy requests, contact ZOA LLC at hello@zoallc.com.
